I AM SICK. HE MAKES ME DINNER. WE EAT IT IN THE TUB. My work is my visual diary. Many many years down the road, how do I want to be remembered? Not by the way I smile in a family picture. If I could sit down with my deceased grandparents, I would love to ask them about the intimate details of their lives that have been lost in time. In this piece, I am putting down in an immortal painting that I’m so grateful to be with Brett, and everyday in the mundane, I’m living the high life with him. (Summer 2007).
